Dear Folks

Received your cablegram & wrote you about a week ago, have been waiting to see just where we may have been posted, as yet we don't know, its not overseas so perhaps just stay around Ireland or England, Ireland would be a change. I wrote you an ordinary letter, but you shall receive this first. We are on leave in London for a few days. This is really a big place, should see the big crowds waiting to get into the shows, restaurants, dance halls etc. I have seen most of the places around here from time before, but didn't have much leave, so came along with the crew, best if we are together, since not sure of our posting.

Have had our mail stop at base-post office so may receive those parcels in a week, told Glen to send more cigarettes, but am not out at the present. Suppose Glen is home now or should soon be, OK on Cecil.

All finished OTU, everything went O.K., have in a few more hrs in the old log book Better send Lewis' add & let me know of Bill Mͨ should he have come over. Have meet plenty of the boys here in town, at the Beaver Club is the meeting place for all Canadians

Tell Glen to write, I should be able to write pages but for tonite Goodbye for now

Claude.
