Woke up at 4, on parade at 4:45. Stand to until 6:20. Cleaned up and back on parade at 7. Church parade at 9.
Bn ordered on mining party.
Paraded at 5 PM., enbussed and went to Telegraph Hill. Lost our way but got one hour's work in. I got hit in steel helmet by shrapnel, which knocked helmet off. No casualties on party but Billets shelled and Padre and Rittany wounded. Home to bed at 2 AM.
