Dear Jenn:-

Just a line to-day to let you know that I am still alive and feeling fine.

We have been in quite a jumbled up way for the last couple of days and didn't know half an hour a head where we would be or what was going to become of us. I guess it is pretty well settled now and we are getting formed into some kind of order. I guess this will be my last letter to you from here.

I fixed my camera up in a box and am sending it to you. I don't know wether it will ever be any more good or not. It won't until there is a new/ spring put in it anyway. The shutters got so they wouldn't work, so I took it apart and the spring was broken. I was going to get it fixed, but was afraid we wouldn't be here long enough to get it done. The spring got out of place once before and I fixed it myself, but this time it is broke. If you want to use it you will have to send it and get it fixed. I also forgot to put the film spool in it. I am enclosing a couple of snaps of myself and also the negative. They are about the best picture of myself I have got since coming to this country. If any body wants any of them you can get some more printed. Give Lillie Kingston one anyway/
