Dear Aunt Myrt

I haven't written for quite some time, but I'm usually late with my letters anyhow.

I'm back in England on leave, at present in London but I hope to get up to Scotland yet. Before I left Holland I sent you a souvenir from there. And while I was in Calais France for two days on my leave over there I picked up some French perfumes which I'll send along as soon as I can.

How is everything up on the [?]? [Howie]? was telling me he'll be up for a week in the summer.

I read in our paper not long ago when they are trying to blow Halifax up again fine things.

Well Aunt Myrt I'll write again soon. Until then
