My Dear Mother

Just a few lines to you know I will be home Thursday morning. They told us to-day anyone who had not a pass to put in for one so I will be home for sure unless something radical turns up. My cold is a great deal better now I am so glad I will be home for Xmas I hardly know what to do.
Write by return.
Your Loving Son Willie
