Dear Mother, - I suppose you will be surprised two see that I have changed my address but that is the case, We are now in summer camp living in tents & too tell the truth I don't like it a little & we have not been paid for almost a month well two tell the truth I have got two borrow stamps two mail this letter. We left Toronto the 5th of the month & went two Quebec stayed there two days & now we are here about 70 miles from Halifax there is nothing here at all for amusement there is a little one horse town about two miles from here but say its sure dead. Well that's all I've got two say about that is make the most of it but I wish that I was out of it. Well how is everything at home & hope you are well & the girls the same you can send them one of my pictures if you got them. Well I guess that that's about all for this time hoping you are well I am as always your affectionate son
