Dear Sister

Many thanks for welcome letter also for the nice khaki handkerchief you sent glad to hear you are all keeping well the same as myself. Yes I got a letter from Agnes the day after I wrote last letter, she was telling me Mary had sent you my address on and that I would be getting a letter from you, we have had no Canadian Mail here for 8 days now it must be held up somewhere. Yes the snow is awful it was snowing here all day Monday and Tuesday they seem to have their share all over I think, Agnes was telling me they have had about two feet of snow in Vancouver, but the poor fellows at the front will be feeling it worse with no shelter. Well we are still doing our usual parades, their is not so many rumours about now, about us going away, I expect it will come unexpected when it does come. Thank Mary for the nice little kisses she sent me, I am sending a little Souvineer Brooch for Luck. Yes Bella I will be glad when the war is over I would just a soon be at the front as here. I feel as though I would like to see it finished, our Machine Gun Section went to France last week. Now I will close with every good wish From Your Affect Brother
