Dear Father

I only have time for a very few lines, and I wanted to let you know that the money had arrived O.K. I will tell mother to take it out of mine next time I write. I wouldn't think of asking for money if I couldn't repay it. We got paid before we left for here, but though we dont draw much it just about lasted till your letter arrived, so it was in plenty of time, even if both letters were over long on the way. I am not sure if I thanked you for the last parcel or not, so I will thank you now. There is one coming yet, and I expect it any day. Did I tell you that the Royal Bank parcel arrived safely at last? It was very large which probably accounts for it being so long on the way. Excuse scribble but I am in a hurry and this is the third letter tonight. Am quite well. Will write again soon.

Your Loving Son
