Dear Kathie

Just a few lines to let you know that I received your letter and card of yourself and I must thank you very much for them you were saying you were going home for xmas I hope you did and enjoy yourself also wile you can I hope you and all will how is your mother and the rest tell them all I am asking for them I had a Telegram from Tommie and I am sending you his address you will get a letter much quicker than I would for it is 9 weeks tonight since he went away and he landed on Saturday for I got the Telegram on the Sunday night the 12 of the month You are nearer to him than I am you would get a letter in no time from him and he is out there for 3 years he will likely tell you all about it, he wish himself that he had be coming out to Canada never mind better day in store well Kathie I think I will have to draw to a close and I hope you here from Tommie, I am sending your address also to him David is asking for you and your husband and baby, not for getting the rest I have not got a chance to see Auntie Nellie acount of the Black out but I will try and get up this week to see her her daughter does not stay with her she stay away in the country Tommie and David use to take her to the Sunday night concerts and since Tommie went away she as left the town there was for a wile she had to be push about in a wheel chair for she could not walk but she is improving in walking I will close hoping you are well I am your truly
