Dear Sis

Will write you a few lines to night I have just been to church everything is quite now so I can think. Winnie wrote me a letter telling me the date of your birthday I recieved to on that date so could not send you a card and as I am broke could send you nothing else, was pleased to hear you had a good time. By the way you said that you had a proposal this xmas who do you think would tell me if you dident write and tell me as I am anxious to know I cannot imagine who it would be unless it was willie and if he had enough gall I hope you laughed in his face even if you had not do anything worse, You also said you were writing to Alma and having a time to high on the good side of Ella I would advise you so let her love him as I am quite sure he is not up to your standard he is even worse than I am and that is not saying much for him, I cant understand how you came to be writing to him I am sure but some thing I am sure he would is not worth quarrling over. I am not doing anything yet and no signs, the miners here are on strike came out saterday havent got their pay for six weeks but I dont think it will last more ton a few days. I am feeling fine but mighty lazy. Will guss I will close as it is time to go to bed hoping to hear from you as soon as possible with love to all

Your Loving Brother
