Dear Father

Have applied for six days leave from Thursday night as I couldn't possibly get it any earlier am very uncertain if I can get it then. Will meet you at Charring Cross Station at 12.02 Friday, if get my leave. Will you wire me if you are unable to meet me Friday. I made out my pass to go to Malvern as I didn't know but that that was the best destination to name. I won't know till some time Thursday if I will get my pass or not. I guess I can get there alone if it puts you out to come, though I would like to travel with you if possible. If you go to Malvern before Thursday you can let me know where to wire to get you.

Yours in haste
George
