Dear Mom & Dad:
It has been quite some time since I've last written you. For the last five weeks I've been away from the regiment training for the Corps Sports, we were moving around from one track to another most of the time and were left in a generally unsettled state as far as permanent quarters were concerned and as a result my letter writing schedule was effected greatly. The whole thing is over now though and you can expect to hear from me oftener.

I am receiveing your papers and letters very regular. The thousand cigarettes from Dad arrived ok. Thanks a lot. I am glad to hear Dad is pulling through. Just take things easy and dont worry. try to benefit by past mistakes and we will all come out on top yet.

So Tick is called up for keeps. It will never hurt him. I dont think he will ever have to come over here. There are three over seas regiments from the province now and that is real good going compared to the population. The next [?] will come mostly from the West. The Army will teach him many things that will be beneficial to him in later life.

I was surprised a few days ago when I received a letter from Bill Target. He had to write home for my address. I am going to look him up the first chance.

The snaps came o.k. The kids are certainly growing. I want one of little Boyley first chance

Will call it quits for now. Lots of love

Boyley
