Hiya Buck,

Well fat girl how goes the battle, four eyes and all.

[drawing of two different types of glasses]

Seems to me neither type could do much for that pair of yours so you might just have got the unbreakable kind.

We haven’t much to do here these days except loaf and play ball. But still we couldn’t find a better place to do it. We’ve all got two room suites in old Luftwaffe barracks. Have a radio I whipped off the krauts and its really dandy. Even have a shower everyday to fill in the time – something formerly unheard of in [RAF?]

So you’re having trouble getting out at nights? Well don’t take on any worry. When Jeannie and I get home we’ll fix that in a hurry. You can always come and stay with us (if we can find a place to stay) and nobody will give a hoot what time you get in.

Seems you have the place looking O.K. if all this painting and scrubbing keeps up.

Glad you did O.K. in the exams. Snapshot of Jeanne? Don’t you know theres no such thing as film over here. We only scrounge it cause we’re with a photo re cee outfit.

Cheers for now
Sandy
