Lieut. J. ERWIN LEAN Writes (From France)

Lieut, J,E, Lean, of Camborne, who went overseas as officer commanding the 4th Cobourg Heavy Battery draft, in a letter written on October 22nd, in France says:

I received your welcome letter of August 29th some days ago, but I have been so busy during the past few weeks that I have not written any letters, Even now am writing this one at O.P, It is a foggy day and nothing can be done so I am at liberty to sit down and write. I saw 'Mev' a few days ago. He was getting along all right but had some hard work for him, I have not seen anyone else from around home lately. Mail is very scarce, so I have not much news. Tell everyone to write and write yourself.
Yours as B4,
J. ERWIN LEAN (Lieut.)
