Monday September 25, 1916

To-day, completely rested, we girded up our loins and marched about 12 miles through the busy towns of Coutay (3 miles) and Warboy (7 miles) from Herrissart to our old billets in the horse lines just south of Albert. It is pretty breezy out here on these hills and very cold at night, it being September.

Tuesday passed the same way. Went to a very good vaudeville show, put on by regular company which travels among the troops here and there. The value of such a company is incalculable, as it helps to keep the soldiers happy and bright.
