Dear Mrs Polson

Today as Canadian Red Cross visitor to stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, I visited your son Arch J. Ponson. He tells me he is feeling much better & has much less pain, I shall see him often & if I can do anything for him I shall be only too pleased. If all does not go well I will let you know - he looks much better than many of our men who I have seen after amputations. He will receive every attention at the hospital - if there is any matter you would like attended to for him will you let me know. Hoping you will not worry.

Believe me

In great haste

Yours very truly

(Mrs) Annie E. Paine
