Saturday, September 1st.
8.45 A.M.

Have been too busy to get a letter off to you as I was flying until dusk last night and again from dawn this morning. Felt too tired last evening to write a word, so hit the hay early as I was called at 4.30 A.M. this A.M.

Many thanks for your letter and those from home yesterday. The cigarettes have not arrived yet but guess they will today. Feel very fit and hope you are too.
