Dear Betts, -
This is just a short note tonight as I'm enclosing some postcards that I got in London. I was going to send them before but I could never find a large enough envelope.
I’m away behind in my letters to you as usual but as I have your #14 letter here I had better answer it. It was written April 6th.
I've just returned from London again where I saw Mandel, Bob Slessor, Alec Podolsky who went with George and I and K. Smith – he used to go around with Bill Foster – remember when they were hurt in that motor-cycle accident on Jasper avenue. Anyway to cut a long story short – there were a lot of other Edmonton kids there around too – oh yes Gordon Long – Dr. Long's boy – said to say “hello” to you and Mom.
Your letter was written while you were on your Easter Holidays – funny isn't it – by the time you get this little effort you'll be well on your Summer holidays. How time flies!!
Seems like you were pretty busy – with banquets, dinners, teas etc. P.S: - When did you sleep? or did you?
Speaking of having your picture taken – why don't you and Doreen buy a couple of rolls of film and take a bunch – and send them all to me. I'm wearing the others out just looking at them. Try and get Mom to pose for a few too – I haven't got a decent recent one of her at all.
Well I'll have to dash now.
Look after yourself sis and take care of Mom.
Lots of Love and Kisses
P.S.: - Remember the pictures!
