My Dearest Mother

Have not hurd from you for over two weeks now But I guess as my mail has to go all over befor they find me that it has got lost some where. But will Look for letter next week any way. I am stell at Convalescent. was muked out two weeks ago and not out yet. expect to go any day But they sure are slow I have asked to go twice & am going to ask again tomorrow. I am dead sick of this Hope. When any one over there startes telling you about the good time the  wounded soldiers are Having in Convalescent, Hit them a good one in the mouth, Convalescents are nothing But work Houses, just like a prisiner in Jail work from sun rise to sun set. and not alowd out side of gaite well I hope to get back to work again this week. I feel very good, only sick of this D__ Place, I ran up & seen Florence last sunday, it is only an Hours right by buss But we had to be back in bed again by 8 like a bunch of Kides. Florence is looking real fine But good & fate in the tommie of corse. But she carrys it well, and does not look out of place at all. We have been Having Lovely weather, am all sun burnt,

Well Mother I guess this is all I Hope to be back to work again this week, But never know what they will do with us from day to day, But send all my mail to Florence any way untell I am settled again, Florence is well & baby is geting on fine.
