Dear Girls –

Just a few lines this morning to let you know that I am still alive and well.  I have just finished a letter home.  I have not been able to write for quite awhile but you must not be worried if you do not hear from me very regular now.  I had a letter from Bill last night but have not heard from Erin yet.  I have had three letters from home since I came out here but I guess my mail will be following me all over again.  I have not seen J. Flett since I came over here but will maybe run across him someday.  It is raining to-day but we cannot expect anything else this time of year.  I certainly would have liked to stay in England for the winter but I guess I will have to be satisfied as it is.  I suppose Erin will soon be over here now.  I certainly had a good time with him when I was in England.  I wish I was going back over with Bill but I do not know that I would like to go back the way he is going.  Well girls I will have to quit writing for now so goodbye

From your Loving Brother
John
