"[The names Lean, Alice and Maggie, with dots beside them, are written at the top of the card and referenced in the message below]

Our M.P. got us permits to hear a Debate. we sat in gallery where dots are, the P.M. (Baldwin) sits opposite dispatch box and Home Sec. next him or the Minister whoes department is under discussion and feeds him with papers or facts. Other Ministers in order of their importance as I have marked. The speaker of course sits under the canopy with the Mace on table in front of him. We were lucky in seeing the Speaker’s Procession pass into the House. Headed by mace Bearer."
