My own darling Doll,

I was delighted to receive your darling letter yesterday afternoon.  I am so glad you are getting on alright.

Well sweetheart I am nearly on my way to you.  They sent a wire to Regina this a m. asking them when they could accept me back again.  So I guess it wont be long now before I see you.

I have been recommended for a course, but not for a pension.  I will tell you all about it when I see you.

I went to the pictures last night with Dad.  It was a swell picture, but for the minute I cant remember what it was called.

I am glad you bought yourself that hat.  I am sure I shall like it.

You must excuse more just now – its dinner time

With all my love, hugs and kisses.

Your devoted hubby
Sid.
