My dear Dot
I got your handkerchiefs in a parcel tonight with your nice letter with all the kisses and the big love in it. I was very glad to hear your Mamma had such a good time up at Eatons. The handkerchiefs are just what I wanted for I am almost out of them. How do you and Billy get along? I suppose you fight as much as ever. So you had quite a big birthday party at which I hope you enjoyed yourself. You are getting to be quite grown up.
Well I must wish you goodbye, hoping you are quite well.
From your loving
Daddy
